Whether you are just beginning a fitness routine or you are on a regular plan, the Mind & Body classes offered through the LIFECENTER Health & Fitness Club offer participants the opportunity to do more than just burn calories. With a focus on breath and muscular control, these types of classes have been shown to improve many aspects of physical health, including balance, flexibility, muscular strength, and endurance. No matter which format you choose, our hope is that at the end of each session you gain a new feeling of body awareness and mental clarity.
It does not matter how old you are, the amount of flexibility you have, the size or shape of your body, the exercises are done slowly and with proper breathing techniques. Class is open to beginners as well as those who have practiced yoga before.
