Bartlett Hawks Travel Basketball - The boys and girls travel basketball leagues are designed for those players wanting to take the next step from in-house. It's a great opportunity to develop skills and strategy in a more structured and competitive environment. Players typically practice twice a week in addition to 1-2 games. Most teams play approximately 30-40 league games a season and 3-4 tournaments. Home games are played at Bartlett Community Center, but travelling to away games, up to approximately 30 minutes away, is required. Season is October through March. Fee includes up to 5 tournaments. An additional uniform cost of approximately $100 will be required. Travel players are not permitted to play in the In-house leagues.
Important Registration Information - Advance registration for travel team tryouts is advised. Players trying out for the travel teams are strongly encouraged to also register for the in-house league before the deadline (if registration is open for that grade). If your child is selected to play travel you will automatically be refunded the in-house fee. If your child does not make the travel team, the travel team fee will automatically be refunded. Team fees for travel must be paid in full or a payment plan must be set up no later than Wednesday, September 30th.
"B" teams may be formed at each grade if the numbers and talent exists and coaches can be recruited.
Tryouts will be held on August 27 and 29 in the BCC Gym at 6- 7:30pm. Attendance is encouraged both days.
Dates and Times are approximate and for internal reasons only - If you make a team you will be contacted by a coach with specific practice and game information
